Our Programs

BCTF Health + Wellness Program

Humanworks is an advocate for the professional health of British Columbia’s public educators.

For two decades, we have had the privilege of working with teachers through the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation (BCTF) Health and Wellness Program.

The BCTF Health and Wellness Program has supported thousands of teachers to manage their wellness and return to work.

BCPVPA Early
Intervention Program

Humanworks developed the Early Intervention Program (EIP) to support members of the BC Principals’ and Vice-Principals’ Association (BCPVPA) Benefits Plan.

The objective of the EIP is to help Benefits Plan members remain healthy and well at work. It supports and empowers members who are experiencing personal or professional disruption as a result of illness, injury, or disability.

 

The Well Teacher Program

Humanworks has developed The Well Teacher Program based on the The Well Teacher. The book supports the key learning outcomes for:

  • The Well Teacher Group
  • The Well Teacher Book Club
  • Wellness workshops
  • Presentations
  • Keynote speeches

OTIP/OECTA Well at Work Pilot Program

Humanworks has developed the Well at Work pilot program in partnership with the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP) and the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association (OECTA). The program provides eligible members with :

  • Personalized care from experienced professionals
  • Support with stay or return-to-work strategies, including work accommodation solutions
  • Unique understanding of the needs of the education community
