Rehabilitation Consultant

Andrée is a rehabilitation consultant for Humanworks. Andrée’s role is to oversee and guide rehabilitation for teachers within the British Columbia Teacher’s Federation in order to be able to return to work or maintain durability at work. Andrée contributed to the book, The Well Teacher, and works closely with the rest of the team at Humanworks Press, to get the word out that The Well Teacher is everything teachers need to know to be well and stay well in the classroom.

Andrée earned a Master of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in Complex Emergencies from Simon Fraser University and holds BA degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Manitoba. She is a strong advocate for those who work in the education sector, and achieved her Rehabilitation and Disability Management Diploma from Simon Fraser University, and is a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP). She is fluent in French and English.

On a personal level, Andrée has a deeply creative and adventurous spirit. She dabbles in ceramic art and loves to swim, cycle, and explore the outdoors with her family.
