Karyn is a rehabilitation consultant for Humanworks. She is a former classroom and resource teacher, with diverse experience supporting and collaborating with teachers as they navigate challenges in the classroom. Karyn is now focused on helping teachers in the field of vocational rehabilitation, working closely with clients to ensure a safe and stable return to work while optimizing their overall health and wellness.
Karyn holds a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences with a major in Psychology and a minor in Counselling and Human Development from Simon Fraser University. She also holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of British Columbia and is a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP).
Outside of work, Karyn likes to stay active by attending workout classes, going to the gym, and hiking. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and coffee shops with family and friends.
